You may use this website for lawful purposes only.

You agree not to use this website in any way that may damage, disable, overload, or impair the website, interfere with other users, attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the website, or use the website for fraudulent, misleading, harmful, or unlawful purposes.

You must not copy, scrape, reproduce, republish, sell, rent, sub-license, redistribute, or commercially exploit any content from the website without prior written permission from Mediatop Advertising Ltd.

3. Website information

The information provided on this website is for general information, educational, and promotional purposes.

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that the information on the website is accurate, complete, and up to date. However, we do not guarantee that all content will always be free from errors, omissions, or outdated information.

Mediatop Academy reserves the right to update, modify, remove, or correct website content at any time without prior notice.

4. Seminars, training programmes, and educational services

Mediatop Academy may offer seminars, workshops, training programmes, online sessions, face-to-face training, corporate training, consulting-related educational services, or other learning activities.

Each programme may have its own description, duration, schedule, trainer, delivery method, participation fee, eligibility criteria, requirements, and terms of participation.

The details published on each programme page or communicated directly to participants will form part of the applicable terms for that programme.

Mediatop Academy reserves the right to update programme content, training material, trainers, dates, venue, delivery method, or structure where necessary, provided that reasonable efforts are made to inform affected participants.

5. Registrations and applications

When you submit interest, apply, or register for a Mediatop Academy seminar or programme, you agree to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information.

Mediatop Academy may contact you to confirm your registration, request additional information, provide programme details, issue payment information, or complete administrative procedures.

A registration may not be considered final until all required information has been submitted and, where applicable, payment or official confirmation has been completed.

Mediatop Academy reserves the right to refuse or cancel a registration if the information provided is incomplete, inaccurate, misleading, or if participation requirements are not met.

6. Fees and payments

Participation fees, where applicable, will be stated on the relevant programme page, offer, invoice, registration form, or communication.

All fees must be paid according to the payment terms communicated by Mediatop Academy.

Unless otherwise stated, fees may include participation in the programme and access to relevant training material. Any additional costs, such as travel, accommodation, meals, printed material, certification fees, or other expenses, will only be included if clearly stated.

Mediatop Academy reserves the right to change prices at any time. Price changes will not affect confirmed registrations that have already been accepted and paid, unless otherwise agreed or required due to a material change in the programme.

7. Subsidised or approved programmes

Some programmes may be approved, subsidised, or connected with third-party bodies, public authorities, funding schemes, or the Αρχή Ανάπτυξης Ανθρώπινου Δυναμικού Κύπρου (ΑνΑΔ), where applicable.

Where a programme is connected with a subsidy, funding, approval, or certification procedure, participation may be subject to additional eligibility criteria, documentation, attendance requirements, administrative procedures, or approval by the relevant body.

Mediatop Academy will make reasonable efforts to inform participants about relevant requirements. However, approval, subsidy, reimbursement, or funding is not guaranteed unless officially confirmed by the relevant authority or body.

Participants and companies are responsible for providing accurate information and any required documentation within the requested timeframe.

If a participant or company does not meet the requirements of a subsidy or funding scheme, or if the subsidy is rejected, withdrawn, reduced, or not approved by the relevant body, the participant or company may remain responsible for the applicable participation fee, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

8. Cancellations by participants

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing by email to info@mediatopcy.com.

The applicable cancellation and refund policy may vary depending on the programme, delivery method, date of cancellation, and whether the programme has already started.

Unless a specific cancellation policy is stated on the programme page, offer, invoice, or registration communication, Mediatop Academy reserves the right to apply the following general approach:

Cancellations made sufficiently in advance of the programme start date may be eligible for a refund, credit, or transfer to another programme, at Mediatop Academy’s discretion.

Cancellations made shortly before the programme start date may not be eligible for a full refund.

No-shows or non-attendance without prior written cancellation may not be eligible for a refund.

If a participant has already received access to digital material, recorded content, course resources, or other non-returnable educational content, refund eligibility may be limited, subject to applicable consumer protection law.

This section does not affect any statutory rights that may apply to consumers under applicable law.

9. Right of withdrawal for consumers

Where a participant is acting as a consumer and purchases a service online, by phone, by email, or through another distance method, they may have a legal right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days, where applicable under consumer protection law.

The withdrawal period may begin from the date the contract is concluded.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, the consumer must inform Mediatop Academy by a clear written statement sent to info@mediatopcy.com.

Where the consumer requests that the service begins during the withdrawal period, the consumer may be required to pay for the part of the service already provided up to the point of withdrawal.

Where the service has been fully performed with the consumer’s prior express consent and acknowledgement, the right of withdrawal may no longer apply, where permitted by law.

Where digital content, recordings, downloadable material, or online course access is provided, the right of withdrawal may be affected if access begins with the consumer’s prior express consent and acknowledgement, where permitted by law.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits any mandatory consumer rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

10. Cancellations or changes by Mediatop Academy

Mediatop Academy reserves the right to cancel, postpone, reschedule, relocate, or modify a seminar or training programme where necessary.

This may happen due to low participation, trainer availability, venue issues, technical problems, health and safety reasons, force majeure events, regulatory requirements, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

If a programme is cancelled by Mediatop Academy, registered participants will be informed as soon as reasonably possible.

Where applicable, participants may be offered a refund, credit, alternative date, or transfer to another programme.

Mediatop Academy will not be responsible for additional costs incurred by participants, such as travel, accommodation, loss of income, or other indirect expenses, unless required by applicable law.

11. Attendance and participation

Participants are expected to attend on time, participate respectfully, and follow any instructions given by trainers, coordinators, or Mediatop Academy representatives.

Mediatop Academy reserves the right to remove a participant from a programme if their behaviour is disruptive, offensive, abusive, unsafe, unlawful, or in breach of these Terms and Conditions.

Where a programme has attendance requirements for certification, subsidy, approval, or completion purposes, it is the participant’s responsibility to meet those requirements.

Mediatop Academy may not be able to issue a certificate of attendance or completion if the participant does not meet the required attendance, participation, assessment, or administrative criteria.

12. Certificates

Where applicable, certificates may be issued after completion of a seminar or training programme.

The type of certificate, requirements for receiving it, and any relevant conditions will depend on the specific programme.

A certificate may be withheld if the participant has not completed the required attendance, payment, documentation, assessment, or administrative obligations.

Unless explicitly stated, participation in a Mediatop Academy programme does not guarantee any professional licence, official qualification, employment, promotion, income, business result, or certification by a third party.

13. Educational material and intellectual property

All training material, presentations, documents, videos, templates, guides, worksheets, graphics, website content, branding, logos, text, designs, images, and other materials provided by Mediatop Academy are protected by intellectual property laws.

Unless otherwise stated, all intellectual property rights belong to Mediatop Advertising Ltd, Mediatop Academy, its trainers, partners, or licensors.

Participants may use the material for their own personal learning or internal professional development only.

Participants must not copy, reproduce, record, distribute, sell, publish, upload, share, modify, or commercially exploit any training material without prior written permission.

Recording of seminars, workshops, online sessions, or training activities is not permitted unless Mediatop Academy gives prior written approval.

14. User comments, submissions, and communication

If the website allows users to submit comments, messages, reviews, testimonials, or other content, users are responsible for the content they provide.

You agree that any content you submit must not be unlawful, defamatory, offensive, misleading, discriminatory, abusive, infringing, or in breach of any third-party rights.

Mediatop Academy reserves the right to remove any content that it considers inappropriate, unlawful, misleading, or in breach of these Terms and Conditions.

By submitting content to Mediatop Academy, you confirm that you have the necessary rights and permissions to do so.

Where you provide a testimonial, review, comment, or feedback, you grant Mediatop Academy permission to use it for internal, educational, promotional, or marketing purposes, unless you specifically request otherwise in writing.
